Last year Cristina’s Cafe spent $6100.00 on purchases from local farmers! This year we intend for that figure to be more!
We feel that every community needs a place where people can meet & greet farmers and buy products that are sustainably produced within their foodshed. From mid-May until October on Friday evenings from 6pm-8pm, we host a Farmer’s Market in our parking lot. Some of the items available at our market are crafts, baked goods, honey, raw goat milk & cheese, free range eggs, fresh produce, value-added products (such as homemade salsa), pork & beef.
Help strengthen our local food economy! Support a farmer’s market and meet the folks producing the bounty of crafts, baked goods, goat milk & cheese, eggs, fresh produce, value-added products & meat within our community.
